Rann Utsav Happens every year in the state of Gujarat near India Pakistan border in the Great white dessert. the year its happening from 11th Nov-2024 to 25th march-2025 for Rann of Kutch Tour from Mumbai to Bhuj with train tickets package including Tent City booking option. You can visit Rann this year with Routes De India. if you wish to stay in Tent City at additional cost.. We also have customized Rann of Kutch tour packages for groups, family, kids and couple. The Great Rann of Kutch can now be visited on any date as the significance of the Full Moon glory has become irrelevant due to Floodlights replacing the moon's glow. These lights offer a consistent and breath taking experience throughout the festive season. Almost a decade ago, during full moon nights the Rann of Kutch used to transforms into a glowing landscape with the salt flats reflecting moonlight creating a spectacular view. The distance from Rann Utsav celebration location to Bhuj is 85 kilometers, this takes around 2 hours of road travel.
Rann Of Kutch Festival Tour is a comfort and fun tour from Mumbai, the tour covers a lot of attractions of Rann utsav and gives you the best and authentic experience. During this trip you will be visiting Kalo Dunger - The black hill near India-Pakistan border and is the highest point in Kutch. By evening you will visit Safed Rann also known as the White Desert of the Great Rann of Kutch, wherein you get to enjoy camel ride, explore Rann Utsav a festival celebrating traditions, culture, handicraft, art, and ancient heritage. Late evening you can immerse yourself in vibes of local music and live performance of singers and local folk dancers(Subject to availability)
During Bhuj visit, you get to experience the rich Kutchi culture, traditional handicrafts, and serve your taste buds with local delicacies. The Rann Utsav is scheduled from 11-Nov-2024 to 15-March-2025. Once upon a time long long ago the light emitted from Moon was the only source of light in this region. Experiencing the white desert at night used to be special. But, currently, there are hundreds of Giant floodlights installed in the entire area which makes the moonlight barely noticeable. These lights are similar to cricket stadium lights during night matches. Now you can plan for any date without worrying about the Moon.
Rann Of Kutch Festival Tour Schedule
Day 1-
- 03:15 PM – Mumbai Participants catch train number 20907 - Sayaji Express to Bhuj and reach Bhuj next day by 6.30 AM
Day 2-
- 06:30 AM – Pick up from Bhuj Airport / Railway Station / Bus Station
- 07:30 AM – We will have breakfast start the journey to Kalo Dungar
- 10:00 AM – Explore the scenic view and here you get to see India - Pakistan border and empty your pockets if you love shopping.
- 01:00 PM – We shall check-in at the cozy stay and have lunch and rest. Here you get to taste authentic local food.
- 04:00 PM – We will go out to see the beautiful sunset. This is where we get to make lots of reels and click pictures. Also Visit Dhordo Village.
- 07:00 PM – We shall come back and enjoy at white Rann Fair / Cultural Program and Rann Utsav Photography.
- 08:00 PM – Enjoy your Dinner and night stay at the traditional hut "Bhunga" / tent
- 09.00 PM - After dinner we will Cultural Program at the resort, ones who wish to stay up for night can stay chit chatting others can have their sweet sleep. It will be cold at night remember to get Jackets/monkey caps etc.
Day 3-
- 06:00 AM to 07:00 AM – You can come for grabbing the first rays of the sun. Lazy bums can choose to stay tucked in cozy blankets.
- 07:30 AM to 09:30 AM – Freshen up and take your Breakfast followed by Check out.
- 09:30 AM to 01:00 PM – Proceed to Bhuj. We will have lunch en-route and start Bhuj sightseeing
- 01:00 PM to 07:30 PM – Local sightseeing- Aadhiyogi Statue, Khari Nadi, Kutch Museum, Aaina Mahal, Chhatedi - Cinematic ruins of Royal cenotaphs,and Swaminarayan temple.
- 09:30 PM – Drop at Bhuj Airport / Railway Station / Bus Station

- Mumbai participants reach Borivali by 01:10 pm and Dadar by 01:50 pm.
